Well-groomed and perfect eyebrows help to draw attention to the eyes and make them look bigger. When eyebrows are shaped properly, the beauty of the individual is enhanced. Ideally the brows should be the first thing to take care when preparing your face for makeup. Never line the brows with a black pencil, instead use a dark brown pencil or a brow pencil. The pencil should be slightly lighter than the natural brow color or a shade darker than the color of your hair. It should not be black. Whenever you are lining the brows, brush in an outward slant stroke then line the brows drawing the natural arch in short strokes in the direction in which the hair grows. Fill in spaces with pencil.

HOW TO SHAPE THE EYEBROWS
There are two ways of achieving perfect eyebrows: either by plucking individual brows one at a time with a tweezer or shaving with a razor blade. When using a blade, make sure you are extra careful so as to avoid cutting yourself or taking off too much hair
Note: It is better to take off too little than to take off too much as the hair cannot be replaced.
- Line the area to be shaved with a white or colored pencil.
- With a tweezer, pick out the brow at a time because if much is plucked at a time, it can be painful or use a blade to shave the area in the direction that the hair is growing.
- From the opposite direction, run the blade through the already shaved area. This is in order to shave the hair as close as possible to the skin.
- Clean up the top of the brow with the blade, that is, shave the tiny brows that do not align with the rest to make it look clean. Ensure you do not take off much hair from the top. Just clean up.
- Having done step 2, 3, and 4, with a brow brush, brush down the brows and trim the brows that fall below the shaven part down.
- Again, brush the brows up and trim the excess that will be standing above the clean, shaven part of the brows.
- You can now line the brows in short slant stroke filling up spaces with the brow pencil.
